Jeanne’s Angels

Never a Dull moment. Someone slipped rohipnol into my martini at a club a couple of weeks ago! Never thought that would happen to me. I couldn’t walk, talk, drink water, or even cry. I had to be carried into my house. Luckily I was in good hands. I really didn’t think I was going to wake up the next morning. When I opened my eyes at 6am.- it was like getting a new lease on life! From now on, I’ll be the girl at the club pouring her martinis into a sippy cup.

I had a great time at Dragonfest. For a few hours, I signed magazines and took pictures with some really nice fans. It was inspiring to meet women of all ages who are training and earning their black belts! James from Virginia surprised me with a night shirt that had pictures of the Inside Kung Fu cover and photos of our first meeting at a previous Dragonfest. His enthusiasm is unmatched.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My first greeting of the day was my nephew’s little voice on my machine saying, “Happy Thanksgiving Jeanne! I love you. I miss you.” It made me cry! I have so much to be grateful for this year. I am so blessed to have my health and the amazing love of my friends and family.

People to be thankful for….Tom Tretter is contributing his time and skill illustrating my design ideas for a future project. Dan Panosian, a talented animator- graciously designed my logo for a new business I’m launching.
Last week I wasn’t doing so well, and my girlfriend Tina was not only vigilent about checking in on me, but sent a gorgeous flower arrangement to my house to brighten my spirits. Harry at IKF, who is such a thoughtful and selfless man, surprised me with a blown up version of my magazine cover sans, “the 2 men fighting in my armpit” just for my mom. I am so grateful for the relationship I have with my sister and mom. We have come such a long way, no longer neglectful or shy about showing our love and support for each other. And where would I be without Barrie Quan, my beautiful high school friend who, along with “MOQ & ROQ”, changed my life and taught me all about selflessness, laughter, grace, and love. There are too many people to mention, who continually shock me with their kind spirits and inspire me to be a better person. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Well, I could… but let’s not be greedy! 🙂 Life is good.

My Episode of Without A Trace Aired last night. My sweet agent Gwenn just called to express her enthusiasm. Thanks to all of you who watched and sent kind notes. Although I love acting, it is still excruciatingly painful to watch myself. I know actors are supposed to put on a show and promote their work in a positive light, but I don’t think I’ll ever be completely satisfied with what I see. At least my dissatisfaction drives me to work harder and get better. We can only hope! Ha, ha!

To all you martial arts freaks: I’ll be at Dragonfest Sunday, Nov. 21st @ the Glendale Civic Auditorium selling vials of my blood, nude photos and my latest porn flicks. Not! While others hock their nude photos, I’ll be signing Inside Kung Fu Magazine covers. The event starts @ 10am. Don’t know that I’ll last all the way ’til 5pm., but stop by and say hello! For event info. visit dragonfest.com. Tix are $15.

When my mom saw the magazine cover she called me and asked,”Why did they have to put those 2 guys fighting in your armpit?” I love my mom, always looking out for my image!

For those of you who know Dave Cater at Inside Kung Fu, his father recently passed. Please check in with him and show him your love and support.
Bye for now!
